Interhotel America

We had a great stay! The hotel has been renovated since the earlier reviews, and the pool was a delight. There is a gym and sauna accessible as well. The staff was extremely friendly and quite understanding, considering we don't speak Czech. The breakfast and dinner hours are great, and we had delicious food every night. We were also quite happy that we were able to bring our dogs along for the family vacation, as it saved us from having to put them up in a kennel.

The location is good for hiking, the hotel has a pool and tennis court. This part was really good. I found the bathroom disappointing, there was hair in the shower and on the floor, someone else's shower gel - what means they didn't clean it properly and the door of the shower's cabin was broken. Old carpet and the terrace was shared too, so you couldn't really leave the door open (now it's almost winter but it could be a problem in the summer)

Don't know why does this hotel have 4 stars. I wouldn't give it 2*. Everything is old and looks very cheap inside. It looks more like a hostel not the hotel at all. In bath there is nothing but shampoo. Robes are for the money. Sauna is not functioning on Fridays, if you want you can have it for 500czk/hour. The heating system is not regulated by yourself, cold in the rooms. The refrigerator is not functioning. The only positive things were breakfast and the dinner. If you want to find yourself back in komunismus again this hotel is the best place to stay. Very disappointed :(
