Intimate Hotel Pattaya

I always stay at the Intimate when I'm in Pattaya. Even though it's in the heart of the busiest part of town, it's down a quiet alley. I am never bothered by any noise. The staff is great. The rooms are comfy and always clean. Highly recommended.

This is not the most luxurious or most modern hotel in Pattaya, but if you can get a good rate - I think it is great value for money. The rooms was large and clean with everything that I needed, and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. I thought the location was perfect (although it might not suit everybody). It is located about 5 minutes walk from the beach and Beach Road, so an easy walk if you want to visit the many tourist restaurants on the main tourist road. But if you want to eat Thai food for 60 baht with the locals, there is a shopping areas with a food court 1 minute walk from the hotel. It is also centrally located between the adult entertainment areas, and only about a 20 minute walk to the pier. If you like beer - the Wizard brewery is next door, with 18 of their own brews on tap, and live entertainment.

Overall a nicely maintained property with nice spacious room and nice bathroom with bathtub. The location is off the beach road, right at the back of it, though 4-5 mins walk from beach road. All other staff was good except what i disliked was that during my check out, I was asked to wait and he went to check the room upstairs as if I was a thief and have stolen something. I disliked and found the behavior very racist as they would not do this with a westerner. It never happened across my 4 and 5 start hotel stays across the world and the racist behavior put me off.
