I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Plymouth with my dog and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a genuinely warm welcome by the host, who was not only friendly but incredibly helpful throughout our stay. It really made a difference and set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable visit. The room was comfortable, and spacious – just what I needed for a restful stay. Breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety and everything freshly prepared. My dog was treated perfectly with thoughtful touches like a welcome treat and the staff making sure we were comfortable. If you're visiting Plymouth and looking for somewhere that truly welcomes both you and your four-legged friend, this is the place to stay.
The staff is very lovely and welcoming, we really enjoyed our journey here 😍, the rooms are really comfy and the breakfast is delicious 🤩thank you!!!!!!
I stayed at Invicta Hotel two days ago and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. Upon arrival, I was told by the man at the reception (who seemed to also handle other duties) that the booking.com listing was incorrect and that parking was not included—even though it appeared to be when I booked. He insisted I pay an extra £10 to park in a different hotel’s lot. Since it was late, I reluctantly agreed. The parking space was in a very tight and narrow area—less than 5 meters wide—and quite difficult to access. When I raised concerns, he simply said, “I guarantee it’s fine,” which wasn’t reassuring. I asked to cancel the booking and get a refund due to the situation, but he refused to refund anything except the extra £10 parking fee. I ended up staying in room 132, which had a door that was hard to open due to being stuck. The room also had poor lighting and very limited air circulation, making it an uncomfortable stay. Breakfast the next morning was equally disappointing. I had the full English breakfast, but the sausage and bacon were undercooked and tasted like low-quality ingredients. Oddly, they didn’t ask how much of each item I wanted, and only served one of each item by default—which is quite stingy for what’s advertised as a full breakfast. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel and will definitely not return.
