Ionian Village

This villa in Lixouri is an absolute treasure. Tucked away in peaceful surroundings, it offered the perfect blend of comfort, style, and authentic Kefalonian charm. Waking up to sea views and ending the day by the private pool under a sky full of stars was pure magic. The villa was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed We loved how close it was to Lixouri town, yet it felt like our own private sanctuary. The hosts were truly exceptional — kind, thoughtful, and always available for anything we needed. It’s rare to find a place that feels like home and vacation all at once. We’ll carry this little piece of paradise in our hearts and can’t wait to return.

Lovely place. Simple and small kitchen if you want to save money and cook. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food and pools is good. Reasons why I didn’t give it 5 stars. Excellent apartments with a great pool area and very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed here with my wife and two year old and it was great! The nearest beach was also excellent with enough space for people without the urge to rent sunbeds. As a flight buff i really enjoyed the proximity to the airport, but I guess some people would get annoyed by the incoming and departing aircrafts. The traffic isn't that heavy though, maybe about a dozen flights a day. All in all this hotel is a great place to spend time at when visiting Cephalonia, but I'd really recommend renting a car or scooter to get the most out of the experience.
