Male here 42, took my 68 yo mother with me at the end of July during full summer time. We are from Miami, USA. We know heat and humidity. This iQ hotel had perfectly working air conditioning that you can control the temperature yourself, the guess, from inside your room. Read that twice, slowly. I have traveled alone before to Rome and had issues in other hotels with the AC. Not here. Not here! Everything else is immaculate. Excellent hotel, the space, the restroom, clean, and quiet. Mattress is comfortable. Beds were single size, but it is okay. We are not in Vegas with Queen size standard beds. This is Europe!...We even used the Jacuzzi on the top floor. It was not heated but it does bubble up, fun. Stuff in the fridge was free! What! 2 beers, water and juice. Great. It also had a safe in the room large for a laptop to fit in. Location is central. Everything works. I am the guy that would sleep on the floor on a brick and can battle it through, but If I took my mother to this hotel, I am damn sure you will be fine and not regret staying in this nice hotel. Recommended.
Stayed here for a week and loved it. The rooms were cozy and clean and the air conditioner unit was AMAZING given the intense heat we experienced in June. The location was fantastic, quick walk to Repubblica metro stop and easy walk to Termini. There are nice local cafes and restaurants nearby, away from a lot of typical tourist traps. The restaurant on the roof of the hotel was great too. We did the cooking class downstairs and had a phenomenal experience, I highly recommend it. Also all of the staff was super kind and helpful.
Great place if your into the 90s vibe. Complete with red and blue acrylic accents and nickel fixtures. Room is tiny, decor is terrible, and shower is 2.5 x 2.5 ft. I’m small but wondered how the heavy set lady downstairs checking in was going to access her shower. Room was booked without me confirming it was okay. Thank God we are here only 1 night. For ladies who don’t wash their hair daily, the shower is so small you will be unable to keep it dry in that small space. So disappointed with this crumby hotel that has more of a motel feel. People downstairs are moody too. We asked for single twins since we don’t want 2 grown men in a bed together and the guy at the desk was so annoyed. So I guess they are great until you have a concern. Stick with a Hilton, Marriott, Westin or name you trust. 4 stars in Europe is not 4 stars at home, but this is definitely more like 2
