Our summer destination for the past 20+ years. We have witnessed all stages of the hotel and we are glad that owner Yanni and his family decided for a proper upgrade some years ago. The hotel is perfect for a family vacation far away from any mass tourism in a beautiful resort style facility. We originally came here for windsurfing (the area is one of the windiest places in Europe in summer!) but we are loving everything else here as well. Breakfast and dinner are served in a buffet style in the restaurant area new to the pool, for lunch small snacks can be ordered in the kitchen. If you are a passionate windsurfer and want to bring your own equipment, there's a spacious old station building right at the hotel's beach. If you prefer to rent equipment, the Club Ion and the Pro Centre station are in walking distance and offer best equipment as well as courses for all skill levels. Nightlife is quite rare in this part of the island, but there's parties and BBQs almost every day for those who still have energy after a long sunny & windy day. The airport transfer is only about 5 minutes, you can literally see the planes starting and landing. Due to the strong winds however you can barely hear them... :) So from any destination in middle Europe, it takes you 3 hours until you are surfing or swimming in the ocean!
Excellent hotels with family friendly facilities. The beach in front is also very nice . There is Kiosk to leave your windsurfing gear. The hotel is only 3 minutes away from the ION windsurfing club. Also very clean.
Great place, fantastic people - friendly, welcoming, accommodating. Definitively the best option in the area for a windsurfing holiday ! Breakfast and - especially - dinner is really good. And the waiter - Sebastian - is a really nice young lad, he will take good care of you, very attentive. Taking one star for out for small things / nitpicking: the AC costs extra (?!?) - 4 Euros / day - and the TV wasn't working in my room. Regardless, I would _definitively_ return here for a windsurfing holiday !
