We loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived Patrick took care of us by showing us everything and giving cuddles to our two dogs. Parked our car and picked it up by the end of our stay. All the staff were just lovely. Location is perfect, hotel was super clean and the breakfast was great.
You'll find this hotel nestled in the very centre of the old town. We were charmed by its interior design, which exudes character and a sense of tradition. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, a testament to the housekeeping team's impressive attention to detail. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, featuring a thoughtfully stocked mini-bar and excellent coffee facilities, and was diligently serviced each day. The reception staff were consistently helpful and professional. Mornings were a delight with a good standard breakfast buffet offering a generous array of hot and cold dishes, beverages, and healthy options. The brunch menu also stood out for its high quality. In short, it's a truly wonderful place to stay. Our split-level room featured a loft conversion bedroom with a great quality bed. However, the significantly sloped roof proved to be a real downside, making it very low and uncomfortable. The breakfast service was also disappointing. The waitresses displayed a serious lack of training and customer service skills, appearing unprofessional, inattentive, and shockingly discourteous. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet's location in a poorly designed basement area next to the kitchen is inconvenient. Residents must walk through the main kitchen to access it, and there are clearly better layout options available.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and cozy, with a charming old-world style - the atmosphere is just fantastic! Really enjoyed the stay overall. But there were two things that were honestly disappointing. First, charging for water in a five-star hotel? Not even a complimentary bottle in the room? That just feels stingy. Second, €52 per night for parking - that’s more expensive than in Monaco! For Prague, it’s just unreasonable. When parking costs a third of your nightly rate, something’s off. I hope management takes note, because details like this really take away from an otherwise wonderful experience.
