iSanook Resort & Suites Hua Hin

Really enjoying our stay here! Had a lovely warm welcome at check in and were told we had been upgraded to a pool suite which was fantastic! - the pool is huge and nice and quiet usually in the mornings and evenings (it’s not in the shade all day as a previous review mentions) it’s in the sun from around 11am until sunset. sunbeds around the pool were busy some days and not so much others but generally good availability. Loved the feel of the hotel and the rooms/ beds etc were fantastic!! Lovely place and great value. Staff all excellent too.(oh and a decent gym too)

On our first 2 day, the shower has low water pressure and the water wasn’t even hot enough, was just barely warm, which made us unpleasant to take shower here. Taking shower under weak and almost cold water is unbearable. We called the staff in the afternoon asking to fix the issue and they promised to send someone to handle it. Then we came back at night finding out that the situation remained the same. Called the night shift staff again and he refused to handle. He told us to take it and leave it till the next morning, then hung up the phone. We have given a whole afternoon for them to handle the problem and they still told us to wait till the next morning. In the end the staff even said every room in this resort has the same shower condition…can you believe it? Fortunately, in the next morning, another staff, Nethie, has been very helpful in following up the matter. They upgraded us to a bigger room type with good water supply and bath tub. We were grateful for her service and empathy on not having us to endure the almost cold shower. Also, we appreciated that the hotel manager called us for a conversation and apology regarding the issue. Overall, we believed that the resort values customer experience and has tried to provide a pleasant stay. It has been a nice place to spend a holiday. However, they might consider strengthening individual staff training in order to uphold a good standard of customer service. We were happy with the arrangement and our stay in the end.

The pool acces room was amazing. Very spacious room and large pool. Not too crowded at the pool. The hotel was a bit further from the main streets but there are a few restaurants in the neighbourhood. Staff was happy to cook separate dish if you wish a vegetarian meal for breakfast.
