We stayed for a week and had a great time, with excellent service, and we felt really welcome. We even got an upgrade of our room. Breakfast was nice, the pools and the gardens enjoyable and we could also engage in tennis, paddling and other activities close by. The walk to town was okay, the town is charming. The only negative: The mattresses and pillows are too stiff for my taste, there are no areas that are nice to go for a run early in the morning (closed off until later) and the fitness room could have been better equipped (no heavy weights and just a few machines).
Fantastic experience in this hotel. While I would expect a little more from the rooms and facilities of a 4-star hotel, and while the Spa is NOT included in the stay (which was unusual and surprising, although we should have checked beforehand), the personnel of Iseolago hotel is just surprisingly welcoming and amicable. We had a great stay because of the ladies at breakfast, helping and open to any request, at the reception, and cleaning the rooms. Amazing view from our lake-view room. Breakfast nice but not extraordinary. All in all, would absolutely recommend. Ps. pools are closed until May. Not necessarily walking distance to town, better to have a car.
We stayed for 3 nights. The room was good and clean. Easy to park the car. The pool is for children that want to play. The area by the water is the best place to sunbathing.. The gym was not accessible during our stay. The breakfast was ok but basic. A lot of staff but kind of slow filing up the breakfast (the toaster makes a terrible sound). 15-20mun walk to restaurants in Iseo.
