Isla Tajín Beach & River Resort

The hotel is right between the sea and the lagoon. It has two pools for everyone and everyone has a little pool for themselves in their yards. EVERY room has porch, a little yard, a private pool-also the economic ones. Showers, bathtub - all perfect, water pressure is awesome, temperature as well. And they have bathroom supplys from L'Occidante. Fridge works great. The restaurant owfnrs a variety of mostly Mexican dishes, prices are reasonable :) The beach is awesome, quite untouched, the sea is wavy, but waters are shallow. The lagoon can be explored by the hotel's kayaks. It is also great for kids, families... The people at the hotel are awesome, friendly, helpful. Nothing to complain about. Getting here is a bit tricky as there is no real road for the last mile and you drive along the beach :) Price for the rooms are higher but well justified, you even get more than what you paid for. Super schönes Hotel, wirklich tolle Anlage. Jeden Pesos. Wert.

Tiny resort, in a gorgeous location, with fabulous staff! We were there just a couple of weeks after hurricane Katia hit a year ago (2017), so we were thankful that they were still operational. Everyone was very friendly, accommodating, and patient with my limited Spanish! Fun drive on the beach to get there.. just don’t hit any blue crabs! Lovely room, and food. And close enough to Zona Arqueológica El Tajín, to enjoy a full day there. Highly recommend!

Its a small boutique hotel in a paradise place, but get there buy boat, because by car its extremely adventure indiana jones style. The food its amazing, just spicy carefull. the rooms are also amazing, its perfect for a romantic weekend!
