Guest Reviews 4.3 / 5
I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall pleasant experience. One of the best features is its great location—very close to the airport, which made my travel much more convenient. The room was nice and surprisingly spacious for the rate I paid, and the bathroom was clean and modern, which I appreciated. That said, as a 4-star hotel, attention to small details is important. While these aren't necessarily cons, I believe there's room for improvement when it comes to amenities: providing toothpaste, a hair brush, better quality flip-flops, and higher-end shower gel and shampoo would really elevate the guest experience. All in all, I’d rate my stay a solid 4 out of 5. With just a few tweaks, this hotel could easily become a top choice for travelers.
Rooms were clean but basic for a claimed 4-star level. Service was poor—staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, sharing no info on facilities, room, or floor during check-in; just directed us to follow a colleague who rushed ahead with keys without waiting. No luggage assistance, and they seemed tip-obsessed. Since they didn't provide details, we booked a nearby restaurant independently, but they chased after us to push their restaurant. Same for the airport transport—we'd already arranged a taxi, yet they ran after us, asked our price, and insisted their transport was cheaper by 100 TL. We booked two double rooms (one with extra bed for our child) but got two standards, not suiting family needs. Functional for quick stops, but not recommend for family traveller — major improvements needed.
I have never really wrote a review before but I feel the need to. I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. First, there was an issue with the hot water in the morning. When I tried to shower, the water was cold. I called the staff, and they told me to wait 20 minutes for it to heat up. I waited, but even after that, the water remained cold, so I had no choice but to take an uncomfortable cold shower. While the staff was polite, this was unacceptable for a hotel stay. Then, at checkout, they called me five minutes before the official checkout time to make sure I was leaving. This felt unnecessary and made me feel rushed. Because of this, I was in a hurry to get downstairs, and I now realize this likely led to me leaving behind two valuable items. That evening, at our next hotel, we realized my wife had left her £1,000 pair of shoes in the room. When we called the hotel, they initially told us no one had entered the room yet. However, after checking, they claimed the shoes were not there. We told them we would report the incident to the police, and within 10 minutes, the shoes had “miraculously” appeared. Suspicious, to say the least. They then claimed they couldn’t give them to us right away because they were locked in a room, which was very inconvenient as we needed them that night. Later, I also realized I had left my £200 headphones behind. When I contacted the hotel, they said they had not been found. While I can’t be 100% sure I left them there, I strongly believe I did, as I only used them in that hotel and they weren’t in my suitcase. Given how they handled the missing shoes, I can’t shake the feeling that the same cleaning staff may have taken the headphones as well. The only positive I can mention is that the staff was polite, but I strongly advise future guests to be very mindful of their belongings. The rushed checkout call caused unnecessary stress, and in hindsight, I believe it played a big role in me forgetting my items. I would not stay here again.
