iStay by NH Berlin City Ost Hotel

Really nice rooms, beds extremely comfortable, staff lovely and very helpful. Location ideal for public transport around the city, great offer to not service the room and give snacks and drinks as an alternative, this is great for short stays. Breakfast choice plentiful, exceeded continental as described.

a nice business hotel. rooms are spacious enough although not 4 star quality to my opinion.. only 1 bottle of water in the room for just 2 persons.. if you want more then you need to ask them not to clean the room.. but this was quite a good idea as you can have a snack or a drink at the lobby. the beds are very small and not that comfy to my taste. and no shower ammenities such as ear cottons of spare teeth brush if needed. but the reception service is very good. all of the staff is friendly, helpful and understanding. the hote is around 5-7 minuted from the metro station so you can go fast to the center and there are some shops and restaurants nearby as well.

it took three weeks to get the refund back. // I had a lot of trouble trying to get the deposit of 100 euro back. The money is still stuck somewhere. This will be the first welcome package for each customer at reception. I am not sure whether I am the only person who had the prestige of having problem of getting refund from them but I never had any problem elsewhere with my bank. I paid by card and I presume that the money would be back as smoothly as how it was asked for. I must be blessed by God so that I have to talk to my bank? Just some casual days in Berlin and some random hotel, which will mean weeks of trouble. To be fair, the employees there helped me a lot on this. But still, as a normal customer I feel enormous waste of time and energy. the additional star is only for the employees there, not for the so-called "designed process". Don't exaggerate. You know it sucks.
