Overall We enjoyed our stay at this hotel though there were a few issues that would have made things better. The pool / spa / sauna and central location are definitely very good aspects of this hotel and something that will bring us back again. We enjoyed having access to the washing machine and dryer in the apartment. While for my standards, the accommodation was clean and tidy - I can appreciate for that for those with a higher standard might be disappointed. My main issue was with the Night Club that operates on Friday and Saturday nights. It is very noisy and doesn't stop until 2-3am each morning. If you are planning to stay over a weekend you need to take this into account. We will not be staying on the weekend again - but will definitely use it for Sunday to Thursday visits. Couple of other minor issues with our room were the dishwasher wasn't working or the TV remote power button. Fortunately the TV had a manual power button on the TV so this was not a major issue.
Check in is 24 hours manned, but our building apartment was a totally different building so was a little walk round the corner. Not great for distance with heavy luggage. Beds aren’t that great and comfy but clean and cozy. We were on a very high level with balcony, so the Sky Views are spectacular to the city but also surrounded by other apartment views. Very basic facilities but space well utilised. Underground secure parking is also available at an extra $30 with your stay. With walking distance to Chinatown and eateries, TAFE and some local bars. Ok for a short stay.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with poor speaking English reception staff. Although they tried their best to communicate, it was very hard to understand basic instructions and details on locating car parking. The room was well sized but very basic. The is TV very small and the hotel poorly ventilated. When we arrived on our floor, a neighbour must of been cooking and the smell had completely ruined the air in our apartment. We found it hard to get past that. The room did have a few added bonuses like a washing machine, and dishwasher. Would probably be suitable for a longer term stay. The pool and sauna were enjoyable and we were happy with the early morning time of 6am to use these amenities, although very dissatisfied with the broken steam room which we were very much looking forward to. A few things this hotel could do to improve future stays with potential guests.
