Istron Bay

We recently stayed at Istros Bay in Crete and had a wonderfully relaxing experience. The location is truly idyllic nestled by the sea with panoramic views that are even better in person. If you’re looking to unwind and enjoy nature, this spot is ideal. What truly made our stay exceptional, though, was the outstanding service from the entire team. A heartfelt thank you to the hotel manager Christos, who was always present, attentive, and genuinely committed to making guests feel at home. The PR manager Odysseas went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of always with a warm smile and a professional attitude. We also want to sincerely thank all the staff, who were consistently kind, efficient, and thoughtful. From the early breakfast service to the evening drinks, every interaction felt personal. The local ingredients, homemade dishes, and attentive service really brought the Cretan hospitality to life.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was excellent throughout. A special thank you to Odysseas for his outstanding hospitality—he made us feel truly at home and went above and beyond to help with everything we needed. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

The hotel is pretty nice, good for the price, but it is definetly not a 5-star hotel. Please be aware of this and don't expect too much. The rooms and hotel spaces were always clean; food has a bit variety and is not boring for a 5-days stay. Of course THE view and location are great, that s what making the stay here pleasant and romantic, as well as friendly staff. As stated in some reviews, the hotel needs some renovations due to the dated furniture in most spaces, especially in rooms. And the bathroom equipment.. shower/bath tab zone was just old with a poor water flow. There are lots of things for a 5 star; but also lots for a 3+ ; so it is a solid 4 in my opinion.
