Be careful!!! They keep the security deposit ever and ever after checking out for 5months. We left the apartment on 9th Dec 2024 and submitted the DEWA clearance certificate in 19th Jan 2025, then, now 15th April 2025, not yet returned the security deposit AED5,000.

Terrible Experience, Dishonest, Extremely Rude & Unprofessional, and Poorly Managed! I had an extremely frustrating experience with Ivory Grand Hotel Apartments, Al Barsha, while inquiring about a long term rental. Their management is dishonest, disorganized, and highly unprofessional, making it clear they do not value tenants. Initially, I was quoted AED 85K yearly, but when I inquired about negotiation, I was told it was non negotiable. However, I later found listings on Property Finder and Bayut where brokers confirmed the final price was actually AED 83K. When I tried to clarify this with the hotel manager (Yasir), his responses were cold and indifferent. After several follow ups, he redirected me to another manager, (Atif) and I was left waiting outside for 30 minutes before he finally met me. Atif’s attitude was extremely RUDE, discriminatory, and completely unprofessional. His first question was, “Where are you from?” implying that pricing was based on nationality rather than standard rates or I assume he doesn’t like certain nations. To my surprise, he then quoted AED 90K, contradicting the AED 85K that was previously confirmed. When I pointed this out, he arrogantly replied. “If you want, pay AED 90K, or go check outside.” When I asked if AED 85K was still available, he refused and instead demanded AED 88K or a 5K commission, which is completely unethical, as commissions should not apply when dealing directly with the hotel. It became clear that their pricing was arbitrary, manipulative, and based on personal bias rather than policies. Later, coincidentally I found some Ejari rental contracts on reception while talking to the workers around the reception area and I could see that several tenants had recently rented for AED 85K, proving their dishonesty. To make matters worse, I later learned from existing and former tenants that the management also fails to honor maintenance commitments. They make false promises but never follow through, constantly redirecting tenants from one person to another in an endless cycle of excuses. Many tenants feel frustrated, neglected, and completely ignored once they’ve signed the contract. Additionally, I discovered that Atif’s behavior is a major problem, not just for tenants but also for staff. Employees shared that his rude and unethical behavior has led many to resign, and those who remain are demotivated. It’s shocking that someone with such poor management skills and zero professionalism is allowed to run business operations. If you are looking for a long term rental, AVOID Ivory Grand Hotel Apartments at all costs. Their management is Rude and dishonest, unprofessional, and discriminatory, with manipulative pricing, false promises on maintenance, and a toxic environment for both tenants and staff. Especially the manager ATIF! There are plenty of better managed properties in Dubai where tenants are treated fairly. Ivory Grand is not worth your time, money, or peace of mind.

Do not rent here for long term. The property management is one of the most unethical and crooked you'd find here. They don't follow RERA rent index, even though they'll sweet-talk you about all good things in the beginning. Be ready to get exorbitant annual rent increase once you sign the contract. You can't leave mid-way too, they make you sign additional contract which is not applicable as per RERA and they mention you can't leave mid-term. Getting back your deposit is another nightmare. The apartment and furniture is anyway sub-par vs the rent they expect.
