I have stayed for 2 nights in 2 different room types. Everything was good about the hotel. Suggestion for improvement for better comfort and safety: There’s no bath mat provided and the window does not seem to close tightly (this is triple room).

We recently stayed at IXORA Hotel, Seberang Jaya, Pulau Pinang, in the Deluxe Family Room, and overall, it was a comfortable experience. The room was spacious and well-suited for our family of five, including young children and an infant. All essential amenities were provided, which we appreciated. However, there were some drawbacks that should be addressed. Firstly, the toilet did not have a pipe hose, only a bidet spray, which may not be comfortable or familiar for most Malaysian guests. The most concerning issue was with the swimming pool facilities. The kids’ pool is too small, and the placement of the slide is dangerous. Children swimming and playing in the pool are at risk of being hit by others sliding down, as the slide ends directly into the middle of the small pool. It felt unsafe, especially with how fast the slide was. There’s a real risk of injury if this isn’t addressed. The adult pool area also needs improvement. There is little shade, and during hot weather, it becomes uncomfortable. Adding a large canopy and more seating areas would significantly enhance the experience. In summary, while the room was comfortable and great for families, we hope the hotel management will seriously consider improving the pool safety and facilities.

I booked the hotel room online. Due to emergency, I cannot make it that day and asked for postpone of stay in hotel. Initially the hotel staff agreed about the postpone, after that the Hotel Manager disagree and directly deduct my credit card for a the booking I made but I didn't make it that day and asked for postponement even before before the day of stay. Well, I being the customer to this hotel for almost 10 years and stay in the hotel at monthly frequency. As a loyal customer this is how the hotel treated me, just want to deduct the money from my credit card. Good, I will not stay in this hotel anymore, and also I will instruct my staffs forever not to check in / stay in this hotel. This is to let the hotel management know that customer service is important.
