Amazing hotel! For the price I highly recommend. Super friendly staff. Good food. It has everything you need.
My stay at J Park Hotel was absolutely awful from the moment I arrived. The staff were unbelievably rude, completely unhelpful, and refused to let me see the room I had booked. The hotel itself was in horrendous condition—dirty, smelly, and full of mosquitoes. It’s clear there is no attention to cleanliness or maintenance. When I tried to contact the manager, none of the staff spoke any English, and instead of resolving my issue, they rudely hung up the phone. I was left with no choice but to leave the hotel immediately and return to Bangkok at my own expense, losing nearly 2,000 baht in taxi costs. This place is far below acceptable standards for any kind of accommodation, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Save your money and sanity—stay somewhere else.
I don’t normally give 1 star review throughout all aspects but this one took the cake. A terrible experience especially for non local tourists. J Park Hotel in Chonburi is a horrible choice for foreign tourists. It’s located in the middle of an industrial zone with nothing of interest nearby, making it completely unsuitable if you’re looking for activities or entertainment in the area. The service was shockingly bad. There’s no concierge, so you’ll have to drag your luggage either up the stairs or along a long 3 level zig-zag pathway. At the front desk, the staff showed little interest in assisting us, and the manager refused to leave his office to answer our questions. When we got worried and asked to view the room first, they asked us for our passports, which made us even more sure that this place wasn’t going to be great. Adding to the disappointment, the area just outside the lobby was swarming with mosquitoes, clearly showing a lack of repellents or anti-mosquito breeding practices. The reception area looked like a complete wreck, with Christmas decorations falling off and no staff bothering to fix it. The furniture in the lobby was slightly dusty, creating an overall neglected and uninviting atmosphere. Oh and by the way, they do not accept Amex payment at this place. The only thing that seemed operational was the pool. The gym next to the hotel appeared closed, adding to the overall sense of disrepair. It’s seems like this place caters primarily to local tourists on staycation? If you are accustomed to 4-star service hotel or have certain expectations of hospitality, expecting decent service, cleanliness, or a convenient location, avoid this hotel at all costs.
