JA Ocean View Hotel Jumeirah Beach Dubai

Me and my family just spent 10 nights at JA ocean view hotel. It was a truly good experience. The hotel is very central with good views. The young man who Omar on floor 23 who cleaned our rooms did an amazing job. The cleaning was top notch. The pool area is small and finding sun-beds is a bit difficult, but a big thanks to Daniel who always found us one with a smile on his face. A big thanks to Hashim who always made sure we had a great stay. We also booked the desert safari through the hotel and the young mam there made sure we got the best experience. A truly memorable holiday. Thank you to all staff as well.

I had a fantastic experience at JA Ocean View Hotel. From the moment we checked in for our honeymoon, the staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. A special shout out to Madheesha from housekeeping, who made our stay even more comfortable. She cleaned the room daily with great care and attention to detail. It was always spotless, fresh, and neatly arranged. The room had a beautiful ocean view, the facilities were top-notch, and the location is perfect for both relaxation and exploring the city. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dubai. Great service, clean rooms, and warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

Extremely Disappointing First Impression – No Support for Families with Young Children We arrived at JA Ocean View Hotel late at night after a delayed flight – a late arrival that I had clearly communicated via email and multiple confirmations days in advance. I was traveling with two small children, and yet no early check-in, temporary room, or gesture of goodwill was offered. Frankly, this was deeply disappointing and felt disrespectful towards us as a family. In a hotel of this size and standard, I simply cannot believe that not a single room or even a resting area could be made available for a family with exhausted toddlers in the middle of the night. After many back-and-forth discussions and no solution, we were forced to spend 6 long hours in the hotel lobby, trying to comfort our completely overtired children. This experience was not only physically exhausting but also mentally frustrating. We truly expected more understanding, empathy, and basic human kindness from a hotel of this class. Just offering us a room – even temporarily – would have cost the hotel nothing, but it would have gained loyal, returning customers. Instead, we were left feeling unwelcome and unsupported. The hotel is located right by Dubai Marina and close to Jumeirah Beach, which is certainly a great spot – but even the best location can’t make up for such a disappointing level of service and guest care. We will not return to this hotel – and we do not recommend JA Ocean View Hotel, especially not to families. Truly a missed opportunity. What a shame.
