Amazing hotel. So so close to Haram. Beautiful clean facilities- rooms are spacious and well maintained. Breakfast was outstanding. They were kind enough to upgrade one of my rooms to a suite- which my kids loved because it was huge!! Attached mall has some decent food options and good shopping. There is security at entrance to mall hotel entrance which is reassuring. We would love to come back and stay- so much nicer to be away from hustle and bustle of clock tower hotels. 10/10!
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Makkah for two days during Ramadan, and I must say it was our best and most memorable trip. It was my sister’s first time visiting Makkah, and thanks to this hotel, her Umrah and Ibadah experience was smooth and easy. My elderly mother was also very happy with the stay. Since the hotel is just a short walk from the Haram, she was able to go by herself without any difficulty, which gave us peace of mind. The location is excellent—right next to the Haram. There’s a shopping center downstairs, and even a mosque inside the hotel with separate prayer areas for men and women, which was very convenient. We booked a deal that included both Suhoor and Iftar, and the food was amazing with so much variety. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the hotel has all the amenities you could need. The staff was really helpful and kind throughout our stay, always ready to assist with a smile. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Makkah!
While the suite itself was spacious and comfortable, the overall experience was let down by the hotel’s highly unprofessional and uncooperative service. It took hours of repeated requests to get housekeeping to show up, and even then, the cleaning was extremely superficial—definitely not up to standard for a hotel of this category. Reaching the concierge or reception was nearly impossible, as they frequently ignored calls and offered little assistance when they did answer. The lack of responsiveness and basic hospitality was incredibly disappointing. A great room alone cannot make up for poor service.
