What an absolutely magical experience at Jade Mountain Resort! My recent stay was truly unforgettable, as it's where I proposed to my now fiancée – and thanks to the incredible team, it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and pampered. The service here is truly next-level. They went above and beyond to help me orchestrate the proposal during an in-room personal chef dinner, which was an experience in itself. The chef created an exquisite meal, tailored to our preferences, and the team discreetly helped me with all the details for the big moment. Their seamless coordination made it so special and stress-free. The food was absolutely excellent. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Dining in our sanctuary with such a talented chef was a highlight of the trip, perfectly complemented by the breathtaking views. Jade Mountain is an experience where every detail is meticulously cared for, and every team member genuinely strives to make your stay extraordinary. Absolutely stunning views! We came for a lunch date. We were treated like royalty. I have to praise the staff members we encountered. From the shuttle driver to our waiter, they all made us feel catered to. The appetizer and main entrée were exceptional. However, both our deserts and drinks lacked flavor in my option. The restaurant has a very relaxing atmosphere. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and would give it another go.

The best part about this place is the rooms/views. Everything else is mediocre. The service was poor with bad communication. Asking for anything on the beach seemed like a bother. No one offered help moving chairs, they would watch us do it ourselves. They would bring you the check on the beach after ordering one thing when we just wanted to keep the tab open and relax. There was no private pool in the sun. They had one covered pool in the middle of the restaurant (?) which seemed more like decoration. The food was decent. The roads were horrendous even between the beaches. You can stay at much nicer resorts with better service, food, beach, amenities for much cheaper than this. The cherry on top was at check out we discovered around $500 in incorrect charges that they did end up removing. Spent around $15,000, took from our savings, just to be let down incredibly. We were robbed. Anyone who thinks this place is worth 5 stars must not be well traveled.
