Very nice resort with all possible amenities and luxury. We were upgraded to suite so our review is also driven but the very large and comfy suite. All very nice and people super efficient and kind
Not a Marriott – a poor imitation at best Extremely disappointing experience. This hotel carries the Marriott name, but it felt more like a poorly run budget property trying to pass off as luxury. Let’s start with the food – the same dishes and flavours repeated every day, bland and uninspired. It’s clear they have one chef doing all cuisines, which shows in the lack of quality and variety. The entire staff seemed to be trainees with little clue on how to manage service or guest experience. The AC in the room barely worked, which made the Jaisalmer heat unbearable. The blinders didn’t close all the way, so I was woken up at sunrise with the room flooded with light. Not ideal when you’re on a holiday expecting rest. To top it off, the billing was a mess at checkout, with charges added incorrectly and confusion all around. This isn’t the standard I’ve come to expect from a Marriott. Honestly, it felt like a cheap rip-off using the brand name – no polish, no professionalism, and zero value for money. Strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you want a real hospitality experience in Jaisalmer.
