great location for people who likes adventure and nature, great problem solving, if something happen the staff and the owner will happily provide and solve anything that can pop up. all informations are well written and explained, so no surprises. would suggest this location for a person who is already used to Thailand and the Thai environment, weather and lifestyle, who is already comfortable with thai lifestyle. if you are new to Asia or not used to Nature/Grounding lifestyle and you are looking for a luxury hotel with European/white standards you'll not find it 👌🏼 so make sure to read everything and listen to what they say so you won't avoid any misunderstanding 🌱 they are so available and understanding to any request and questions so open up yourself and be a nice human 🖤🙏🏼

What a wonderful 10 days we've spent at Jaiyen. It is so peaceful here, that we didn't want to leave! The local staff are super friendly, and it's so nice to be surrounded by so much nature. (and the local dogs and cats are cute too!) The food here is amazing too! Only recommendation we have is to hire mopeds, as it is about 4km out from the town.

A family escape turned nightmare. Three nights booked, two barely endured. This so-called "hotel" is nothing short of a scam: Nonexistent comfort, dirty rooms, terrace left filthy for days. Disgusting food, disgraceful breakfast, even a simple pad thai completely ruined. Charged for an undrinkable bottle of wine we immediately refused (documented proof). Two-hour blackout with no backup generator—left stranded in darkness. Hostile staff attempting extortion, holding us hostage by threatening to withhold transportation if we didn't pay their inflated bill. Even basics—a simple ashtray on the terrace—were beyond their grasp. A total fraud posing as hospitality. Do yourself a favor: avoid this disgrace at all costs.
