Jammertal Resort

Definitely a gem within the resort classification. Very laid back, hence a bit hidden, it offers not only peace and quiet but also a great Spa option, wonderful food options and a hard to beat impressive service. An absolute recommendation for a day trip out, weekend escape or a few days to get away from it all.

We had a great stay. Staff was super friendly (except in the shop). I needed a special arrangement due to an important meeting and everything was taken care of. It’s a small oasis for retreat and relaxation and the team does its best to guarantee a comfortable stay. The only “downsides” are the poor signal and WiFi and the remote location (which is difficultly to reach without a car). Otherwise, food was great. There are plenty of opportunities for walks & small hikes, and the spar offering is great.

Jammertal is very relaxing and peaceful. Do try to enjoy the greater surroundings, thereś walks and cycling to be done. Foodwise, the buffet seems to be very much for meatlovers. Vegetarians/vegans do have a small corner, but no signature dishes. Think fried rice, pasta and a lentil/vegetable section. Especially away from home, this is a good moment to expose guests to alternatives, a chance missed. Organic foods seem out of stock. Or management fails do go beyond the green washing. Rooms very adequate. The wellness was extensive, very nice. Pity though that the differentiation between textile and no textile is blurred; to the disadvantage of the non-textiled. Why on earth would you use sun recliners in FKK section while still clothed? I also felt that smokers still receive a warm welcome.
