We had a late check in after a long trip, they were able to get us a room. Rooms are clean and neat, and service was great!
A pleasant surprise away from the city center. Seems to he stuck in time but very clean and well maintained. Wouldn't hurt to get rid of the red carpet in the corridors though. Comfy clean room, decent restaurant with outdoor seating, pool and pub.
The bedroom had not been opened for sometime so there was a stale smell. Flying ants were pouring into the room via gaps between the window frame and the wall. Sewage smells filled the bathroom as the U-bends had gone dry - lack of usage ? The Manager was grumpy and would have been unhelpful until he met my wife who insisted that he did something to rectify all the problems. The lady manageress was very helpful and apologetic. Overpriced for the quality of the hotel. Needs a total revamp. Would not stay there again.
