Absolutely lovely place to stay. Clean, warm, peaceful and relaxing but not far from anything. Host was great.
A friendly host welcomed us to the property which consisted of a lounge/ kitchen/diner, large bedroom containing one king sized and bunks that could be screened off. The bathroom (off the bedroom) was a good size with a shower cubicle and vanity unit. There was no shortage crockery, kitchenware, glassware but the combination oven was a challenge to the uninitiated. Private off road parking and small private suntrap outside seating area was accessible via French doors and there was an undercover area where we stored our bikes. My reservations were that the stairs could prove a problem for the less mobile and Maldegem was further away than we anticipated. The complimentary Belgium beer was much appreciated after a days riding.
We were very lucky as we got to visit this place when it was not even a couple of months old. It was amazing and wish we could have stayed there longer. Facilities were immaculate and service excellent. Food was great and the area as well as the gardens perfectly maintained. We hope to visit soon.
