Java Heritage Hotel Purwokerto

I stayed at Java Heritage with high expectations due to its good reputation. Overall, the hotel's atmosphere was quite comfortable and the staff was friendly. However, there were a few things I felt needed attention. The television in the room felt quite small for this class of hotel, making it uncomfortable to watch from the comfort of my bed. Furthermore, the hot water in the shower wasn't hot enough, especially at night. This was quite disruptive to my rest. I'm sharing these comments as feedback so we can further improve the guest experience in the future. Thank you.

My very 1st time visiting Purwokerto with my Uncle & Aunt for a wedding Reception here in Java Heritage. I must say for a small town, am very much impressed by its massive building, able to accommodate 2 Ballrooms even. Most impressive ✨ Staffs were friendly & attentive towards us. Lobby was pretty loud with loads of decor going all over the place, both peranakan & idul adha what nots, which I don't mind. As I enter my room, it was pretty spacious. Clean bed & bathroom is a huge plus. However the hot water took some time to heat up, and even so...the shower jet stream was pretty weak. Someone should really look into this, Room 303. Ballroom function was of decent size, with well decorated wedding venue👍🏻 Pretty convenient as it was just next door to the Hotel. After the event was done, I decided to check out their Bar at the 5th floor to have a late night Earl Grey Tea. Superb end to a long day👌🏻 Come morning, breakfast area was the same area as the Bar was. Only had food from the egg station, as I was still full from the night before. It was good, love the Traditional Tea varieties offered too. Wedang Sereh & Uwuh FTW! Overall, my first experience here was excellent, albeit the hot water debacle. The hotel location is nice, the parking space is very spacious, the breakfast menu are very variety and they taste quite good.. i think they need to improve the hospitality more, the staffs werent very friendly for a 4 stars hotel especially in the kitchen and parking service area.. the kids playground also very minimals and less children activities.
