We all probably know by now that Jaz Amara is a fantastic hotel. The many positive reviews speak for themselves, and that’s exactly why we decided to come back. However, there’s starting to be a bit of an issue with the sunbeds by the pools. They’re always fully occupied, and finding a free spot can be quite difficult. Still, it remains a top hotel with excellent service. I’d also like to mention something that I haven’t seen in other reviews—an experience with one of the shops. We went for a walk around the Jaz Amara shops and found a fantastic store called Jaz Amara Parfum. There was a very nice and helpful salesperson (unfortunately, I forgot his name), and the prices were great. He showed me a beautiful and high-quality perfume—I simply couldn’t leave without it. The scent is fresh and citrusy, and I can highly recommend it.
It’s called Elite and it does so rightfully. I enjoyed two stays - both were outstanding . The hotel is beautiful, quite compact and cozy. The beach and the sea is an absolute paradise - soft white sand without any hard stones or corals takes you to the most beautiful bay full of sea life. Where other tourists pay to get to this lagoon as excursion, you get the full access to this beauty as part of your stay to enjoy and explore.
Hello, I would like to share my impressions from my holiday stay at the Jaz Elite Amara hotel. Let’s start with the negatives: This was an all-inclusive holiday, yet in the room fridges (mini bars), the drinks are for an extra charge. The only thing you can drink for free is water, which I suspect is not mineral but spring water, served in reusable glass bottles with a “Jaz” sticker. The bottle caps are not even screwed on – you can just lift them off. I’m not sure if that’s safe. If you want to bring a drink to your room, you can, but only in glasses. The last bar where you can order a drink closes at midnight, so if you bring a drink at that time, by the morning it will be flat and undrinkable. The bartenders told me they are not allowed to give guests, for example, canned beer. Is this how all-inclusive is supposed to be? There are no free-standing fridges anywhere outside or in the hotel where you could help yourself to a drink – which I find unacceptable. If you want something to drink, you must go to a waiter. Outside, even if you are in the pool, you can get Pepsi, but it’s from a dispenser concentrate, not from a bottle or can. Is this all-inclusive? The hotel has no slides, no aqua park. There is also a strange rule that guests must wear long trousers for dinner. You come to relax and feel comfortable, but instead the hotel staff and their rules force you to wear long trousers in the heat. If you come in shorts (even smart shorts or short jeans), someone will escort you out of the restaurant – usually a certain man in glasses. Is this how all-inclusive should look? Guests come here to relax, not to be treated as if they are entering a luxury fine-dining restaurant with a strict dress code. Another strange thing – the waiter hands you a card to rate the hotel, restaurants, and bars, and on two occasions waiters actually stood next to us checking our answers. Is this good manners? In the room, we had earwigs crawling around for several days in a row. Is this all-inclusive? Now for the positives: The food was varied and tasty. The pools were cleaned daily. The rooms were cleaned daily. The property is visually beautiful. The hotel is located close to the airport, which makes the transfer quick. The hotel has direct access to the sea and beach, which is great – you can see coral reefs. On the beach, you can even see a camel. I do not recommend Jaz Elite Amara for holidays. For the price we paid, for example in Turkey, you would get a real all-inclusive. In serious all-inclusive resorts, even the mini bars in rooms are free. Jaz Elite Amara cannot be compared to the above-mentioned hotels in Turkey. It is very likely that under this review there will be a reply saying that my email address cannot be found in the hotel’s guest records. I am writing from a different email address. The person replying to this comment is welcome to ask me any questions, and I will provide all the details needed to verify that I was indeed a guest. Best regards
