Very nice, grand hotel next door to the ICC where I attended a conference. Vast public areas across multiple floors, lots of polished marble and white walls- not a side of dirt or dust anywhere. Only used the indoor facilities gym/pool/sauna- all of which were impeccable If you plan to swim you will need a cap, bring your own or hire for a very small fee (3000) Sauna is small additional charge (10000) but actual sauna is very good and there are also 2 hot baths (43C and 38C) as well as a lounge bath (19C).

Fantastic views of the ocean. Safe, clean spacious hotel. Breakfast buffet not free but well stocked with Korean and American favorites, eggs bacon, fish, dumplings, eggs to order, fresh fruit and pastries and more You will not find wash rags, bring your own. House shoes are provided. Renting a car is the best way to see the island, hundreds of places to eat and shop. parking garage on site, but parking spaces are tight and everywhere on the island. Nice kitchen but cooking not allowed, very few dishes, plates and cups. No ice maker on fridge. Good convenience store on site.

Stayed at Booyoung Resort in May for short vacation with family. We book 2- bedroom Ocean Suite for 4 nights w/ beautiful view of ocean and lovely Heart-Shape Light Garden display at night. We paid extra for breakfast buffet and it had delicious Korean & American options. We ate dinner at hotel on our last day there and dinner options were all exquisite. I can honestly say, that was the best place we are at in the whole island! The hotel also offered massages which we took advantage of after coming back sore from hiking nearby. Only the inner pool was open and it was nice and warm and kept us entertained. They also had convenience store which we visited frequently for snacks and drinks. Cons: (Our fault) Staff only knew limited English and we only knew very little korean but body language saved the day + communication apps. Thankfully there was always a staff member that knew enough to communicate with us at reception desk. Be aware the hotel resort is huge! We got lost trying to find the dining room multiple times. You have to climb multiple stairs and go quite a distance back and forth to get to and from dining room and even to parking spot even w/ elevators. I would not recommend for someone that cannot walk long distances. Otherwise, this resort was spectacular and would highly recommend to others!
