Very cute hotel. The breakfast is amazing!!! The room was nice. We had a large bathroom, refrigerator, and a nice balcony that was on the side of the hotel. The air conditioner was very loud but other than that it was a great hotel. Dinner (not included) was also nice.
The outside and setting is lovely you are just over looking the lake and a great bus service to get to places of interest like chillon Castle, montreux centre and veilnaux. The rooms are classed as boutique but really dated and basic needs updating and new furniture, curtains don't fit well and no door on the bathroom just a net curtain very expensive for what it is which is disappointing. Breakfast in just continental no choice and definitely not the best tinned fruit not fresh, bread was tasty and croissants nice but meats spicy and not nice and tiny portions of cheese. Not supprised no photos of the rooms on Web site as very basic and not what you expect for the price.
Second tentative - still disappointed. The terrasse was half empty but we had to wait 15min to get first the menu followed by 10min wait to receive two glasses of wine. The bartender wasn‘t dressed properly for what we dare to call a high priced / luxury location. Plus, the wine was way too expensive chf 12 for which you usually pay the half. It would have been nice to receive some chips or peanuts or whatever.The location/scenery is amazing, though.
