Jiangmen Gladden Hotel

Nice place to stay with several excellent Restaurants. Near Wanda Plaza Shopping Center and Joyful City Plaza.

Gladden Hotel in Jiangmen (名冠金凯悅酒店）is located on Fazhan Blvd “Development Road” (發展大道）, Pengjiang District (蓬江區） in Jiangmen City (江门市）, Guangdong Province (广東省）. The hotel is close to all amenities. Landmarks such as the Jiangmen Wuyi Museum of Overseas Chinese, Jiangmen Art Museum, Bagua Mountain Park, Wuyi overseas Chinese Plaza are less than 0.5 km distance; the Jiangmen Science and Technology Museum, the Jiangmen Upside-Down Museum, the Jiangmenshilian Museum are all with 1 km distance from the hotel. Within the hotel, there are both an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, spa, fitness room. Public parking is free, with available car charging facilities. Pick-up shuttle from the airport is available (50 km away). Wi-Fi is free. There is also a restaurant, cafe, within the hotel. The rooms are big and clean. Services were good, the front desk staff provided very helpful guidance.

It is very bling bling of a hotel with a gold theme and the lobby is grand in a sort of outdated way. I am pretty sure we didn’t ask for a smoking room but we were given one. We could smell the smoke in the corridor, the room also smelled of smoke. We liked their free breakfast and dinner buffet. The indoor swimming pool was quite good with no one swimming there. Overall not too bad but would not stay there again.
