Jingshan Garden Hotel

We were at the Jingshan Garden Hotel in July 25 and it was one of the best hotels we have been to. The staff really pays attention to the guest's needs and gives support of all kind: administrative support; restaurants and shopping places suggestions; support with the communication between the guests and the tour guides. They go above and beyond. Every day we had complimentary water bottles in our room (and believe me, we neeeded it because of the heat); twice in a week (the lenght of our stay) we had also complimentary fresh fruit. The hotel is very well located, near the Forbidden City, in a Hutong. Although it was very central, we had the peace and quiet we needed to rest after a day full of adventures.

Absolutely WOW – A Hidden Gem! This hotel truly exceeded all expectations – an absolute hidden gem! The location is just perfect, with everything you might need within easy reach. From the moment we arrived, the staff made a lasting impression: warm, friendly, always smiling, and genuinely helpful. They created such a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout my stay. The hotel is built in a beautiful traditional style, which adds charm and character to the whole experience. One of the highlights is the inner garden – lush, green, and incredibly well maintained. It's a peaceful retreat full of vibrant plants, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a bit of nature in the heart of the city. Inside, the hotel is quiet, cosy, spotlessly clean, and very neatly arranged. The bed deserves a special mention – without exaggeration, it was the most comfortable bed we’ve ever experienced in a hotel, had the best sleep every night! Each room comes thoughtfully equipped with water, tea, coffee, and a small fridge, which made things very convenient. I was welcomed with a plate of fresh fruits, another lovely gesture. There are also three breakfast options available each morning – Chinese, Continental, and American – which offer something for everyone. A truly heartwarming moment was on my birthday. I hadn’t told anyone at the hotel, but they still surprised me with a small cake and a cute traditional gift. It was unexpected and incredibly touching. This place doesn’t just offer accommodation – it offers warmth, charm, and genuine hospitality. I would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

This place is great, you should go here. Great rooms, in a great building, in the right location as a base for all the beijing tourist stuff. *The hotel is not exactly where it is located on this map, though. It's in a different building the road slightly down the road. It's only about 50-100 yards away, but it's not signposted well, and the people nearby didn't know where it was! Just look towards the end of the dead-end road that this building corners onto, and you'll find it.
