Jinjiang Shanghai Jing'an Hotel

Always chosing this hotel for my businesstrips. Very good price. Very big rooms and comfortable huge beds. Very clean rooms. 5 mins walk to shopping street and metro station. Breakfast is chinese style so not ok for me but can’t complain if you’re in China :) little bit hard for taxi drivers to find.

The hotel has a nice location next to People’s Square and South Shaanxi Rd Metro station. There are a lot of malls, cafes and small cute shops around. The building is historical with lobby, corridors and common areas a bit outdated with and old grandma house smell. We have chosen Cathay Garden. The staff of the hotel is not speaking English properly and not very helpful as you would expect normally in 5* property. The housekeeping has done a great job every day, the room was cleaned and all amenities were in place. The room itself is also a bit outdated with old carpet smell. The beds were comfy and clean. The bathroom is amazing having shower and 🛁 in place. Very clean and unique in old antique style. Overall, the stay wasn’t bad, but I would not consider to stay there again.

Worst service for 5 stars hotel. Front desk staff don't understand English well is acceptable but no service mind at all. May be I'm look like poor people for them as no suite and tie they didn't want to service me. BTW, Conceige is very helpful and friendly especially tall lady she is very nice.
