Jinling Hotel Nanjing

Perfect location for tourists. The hotel is next to a Metro station that is a few stops away from the Confucius temple area and the lake area. Across the street from luxury shopping mall (Deji Plaza) with a grocery store and numerous restaurants. Make sure to only book a room in the newer Asia Pacific Tower and request non-smoking. The only issue we encountered was the air conditioning in our room not working properly and the issue was never resolved.

Great hotel located above key underground stations so great for reaching destinations across Nanjing as well as food and shopping access. Very nice swimming pool and gym also

This hotel is far from family-friendly. I’m the only guardian of my 3-year-old son, and during our time at the swimming pool, I was stopped by a female safety guard when I tried to take him to the toilet. I was told he must go alone to the men’s toilet—despite being a toddler, unable to understand the local language, and with wet, slippery floors all around. This rule is not only inconsiderate, it’s downright dangerous and shows a clear lack of concern for child safety. The room wasn’t any better. It felt very old and poorly maintained. The carpet was worn and even torn in places. The window was dirty and scratched, making it impossible to enjoy what could have been a nice view—but instead, all we saw was a hazy, smoky city through grimy glass. Definitely not the experience we expected. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families or anyone looking for a clean, safe, and comfortable stay.
