Jinling Museum Spa Hotel

Our private group tour organiser provided this hotel as an option, China domestic 5 star Hotel. The building was very grand, I believed it was indeed a reputable 5 star once upon a time. We reached there in the evening. Majority of the hotel area lighting are not on. The tour guide said that it was due to power savings. It had lots of display like porcelain, coral. On the way to our room, there were only lighting shooting on those display, so the walk way was dark. That created a feel of horror movie scene. Family of 4 like us supposed to have 2 bedroom but all of us decided to sleep in 1 room as we just didn't feel good. My teenage son made a logical comment: mommy why can't they just light up the walk way to make their customers feel better. Are those display more important than customers? Room was huge, cleanliness ok. Wash rrom only closed with curtain, no door, no glass. Good for honeymoon couple. Not good for people sharing room that need privacy when using washroom. We had very disappointing dinner in the hotel. Food was served cold. Not so good service attitude. Only 2 table eat-in, felt cheated by the tour organiser.
