We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property, and it truly felt like a little slice of paradise. The owner is a wonderful person who has designed the space with great attention to detail. Nestled in the heart of nature, the property boasts stunning gardens, a peaceful atmosphere, and a delicious breakfast each morning. Most importantly, the owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Where to start... This might have been my best allround experience. And I travelled a lot. The place, it's surroundings, the energy, the host, the services and facilities, everything was 10 out of 10. You can pick fruits from the beautiful garden to make your own smoothie in the morning. There's an abundance of birds, animals and butterflies. You can hear the monkeys howling in the trees in the morning. I would wake up in the early morning to watch the sunrise while drinking my coffee and watching the ocean. If you want to immerse yourself in nature and have a peaceful stay this is your place. Every room has their own fridge in the kitchen and every morning your host will make sure there's enough products in there to have a lovely nutritious breakfast. It also has very well equipped kitchen with all utensils you need in case you want to cook at home. Ype goes above and beyond to ensure you have to most perfect stay. Property is a little bit far from the downtown and since I was solo traveling without a vehicle I was worried this might would be a problem. But in hindsight, I didn't want it any other way. You feel remote (in the best way possible) while still being close to the crowds in town. I either walked and enjoyed the surroundings (I would recommend to walk to town at least once and make a stop at the Beer Brewery

The house is incredible and filled with homemade wooden items and details, the kitchen is super useful as you can cook your own dinners and lunches and make fruit juice etc. Host was very welcoming and breakfast was perfect. The view is stunning, however this property is very far off the beaten track from Montezuma (about a 15 min drive over some very dodgy roads - 4X4 essential on all incoming routes). There's also a lot of insects which we hadn't prepared for, and you can't wear shoes upstairs meaning you have to try and dodge the hundreds of ants on the floor - not the nicest experience. There's also no A/C in the room and no door on the toilet which makes it a bit awkward. Overall I'd recommend if you have a 4X4 and want to be surrounded by nature, but if you're looking for a hotel in Montezuma close to amenities and the beaches, this isn't the one for you.
