Johnwood Hotel by Bolton

I love the ambience and scenery of the hotel. The location is also strategic and very accessible to anyone from Berger. I didn't have to travel into Wuse or Maitama for the classy accommodation. I enjoyed luxury and still connected with street life very easily.

At Berger Junction Wuse zone 5. An edifice that's so visible to the blind and loud to the deaf.. one of the most premium hotels in Abuja... they sell Fercullen Falls the Single Malt and Small Batch there.... that's why I am always there.... the whiskey that doesn't give hangovers... well done guys.... their services are topnotch... great staffers too, especially Ms Joy at the reception with her fine smiles and cute voice and fair skin.... I love Mr. Joel too their f&b manager... great man with the finest communication etiquette....

*Zero Stars - Abandon All Hope, Ye Who Enter Here* I'm writing this review as a warning to others: avoid Johnwood Hotel at all costs. Our stay was a masterclass in neglect, deception, and utter disregard for guest comfort. The "pool amenity" touted on Agoda's listing was a cruel joke. The pool area looked like it had been under demolition for months, with rubble and debris scattered everywhere. It was clear that no one had been anywhere near it fo ages. But that was just the beginning. The air conditioning systems were either broken or deliberately switched off – multiple units in the lobby were silent and still, and the rooms had no working central AC. We sweltered through the night. The elevator was out of order, leaving us to climb stairs or risk our necks in a rickety, non-functional lift shaft. When we brought our grievances to the manager's attention, he seemed more interested in deflecting blame than resolving our issues. He claimed he'd provide a refund, but "it's up to Agoda to handle it." This was a clear cop-out, and it was obvious he was trying to avoid taking responsibility for his hotel's appalling state and misleading advertising. Don't trust the Agoda listing – it's a facade. Johnwood Hotel is a dump, and the management doesn't care about its guests. We were promised a comfortable stay, but what we got was a health hazard, a broken infrastructure, and a manager who wouldn't take ownership of his failures. *Save your money, save your sanity, and stay far, far away from this disaster.*
