Joia Luxury Hotel & Luxury Apartments

I stayed for one night, before a morning departure from the airport. I arrived at midnight and their 24 hours reception was very convenient. The staff is polite and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean; the common garden is very well maintained. I stayed in April so I cannot comment on the outdoor swimming pool, which looks nice enough though. The room I stayed in has double glazed windows and despite being close to the airport I don’t think I’ve heard any plane or traffic at all. The buffet breakfast is ok, you can order the coffee you want. A member of the staff told me that apart from people traveling from the airport , often they have wedding guests (there is a nice venue and restaurant nearby) staying. I’d definitely consider this place again if I needed to have an overnight staying nearby the airport.

Residence like with several little gauzes around a central pool. The rooms are ok with all you need even if pretty simple furnished. Unfortunately there were something close by which spread la a terrible smell in the air. Impossible to open the window as to stay outside.

Room was dirty. Housekeeping was not done everyday. Bathroom was rusty and moldy. No shower, only a jacuzzi with a shower head (nowhere to rest it high so you can’t shower standing up). No shampoo or conditioner. Jacuzzi itself fell apart showing wires and motor inside (hazard). Pitch dark room with no sunlight (despite our specific request for a room with natural light - the response at the time of booking was that the property is filled with light). Booked a standard room but they charged us for a Deluxe room (we specifically did NOT ask for a Deluxe room because we did not need the jacuzzi). Above all, when we gave this feedback during our 3 night stay, no one got back to us. Very poor breakfast in the basement with no windows. NOT a 4 star hotel - I’d give 2.5, 3 at best, with a motel vibe.
