Stayed 4 times over two weeks with Gate1 Travel groups. The hotel was very nicely located to many good places to eat. Easy access to the beach for walks. Used bus airport shuttle located only two blocks away from hotel. They work with Gatec1 and are well set up for providing support to groups and individuals. The breakfast buffet was very good and had a great selection that should satisfy almost any eater. Did have an issue in room 801. It was immediately adjacent to some serious construction, and they started very early and worked late most days. In addition, the bathroom window would not close and let cold air in. The shower/tub in the room was barely working, with very low pressure, but there was barely any hot water. It would cycle between scalding hot and freeing cold. The staff was really wonderful and provided any help that was needed. I would stay there again.
We stayed at the Jose Antonio Deluxe Hotel in Lima and overall had a very good experience. The hotel is well located in Miraflores, a safe and walkable area close to restaurants, shops, and key attractions like Kennedy Park and the Malecón. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We arrived early and were offered early check-in for a fee, which we declined — just something to keep in mind if you’re arriving before standard check-in time. Breakfast was a highlight — a generous buffet with lots of options, including fresh fruits, eggs, breads, juices, and Peruvian specialties. The service throughout our stay was friendly and professional. The only downside was the pool — it looked great but the water was very cold, so we didn’t use it much. Still, a great place to stay if you’re visiting Lima and want a comfortable hotel in a central, quiet, and secure location.
My stay at this hotel in Lima was pleasantly surprising. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome - from the friendly check-in process to helpful recommendations about local attractions. The rooms strike a nice balance between comfort and coziness, with soft bedding and tasteful Peruvian-inspired decor. The location is convenient for exploring the city, with several good restaurants and shops within walking distance. Breakfast was included and offered a decent selection of both local and international options. While not the most luxurious accommodation in Lima, it delivers solid value for the price point. The WiFi was reliable, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained. The only minor drawback was some street noise in the early mornings. Overall, a good choice for travelers looking for friendly service and comfortable accommodations without breaking the bank. The genuine warmth of the staff makes this place stand out from other similarly priced options in the city.
