Josef Mountain Resort

Excellent hotel! We spend a week for skiing, it was the best ski vacation ever. The ski lift is near by, 50 m from the hotel with direct acces from the slope. The spa area is very beautiful with an area for everyone with one inside and one outside pool comunicating each other, a baby pool and a jacuzzi, with sauna and hammam. Another area is adult reserved with 2 saunas, jacuzzi pool, kneipp pools and relaxing areas. Tea and water are offered by the hotel with oranges and apples. The appartement is huge with 2 rooms, terrace and a bathroom. Dinner is rafined, delicious and for all tastes. Alpine menu, italian menu and light menu are proposed every evening, but you can choose between dishes. Light lunch is complementary and very good- actually a vegetarian salad bar. Good wines- local and national are proposed for an extra cost. The bar is excellent with great music. Everybody is very kind, I felt like a princess all day long. The manager is very kind, always there and all the hotel crew is top, from the ladies in housekeeping, to the spa experts, reception staff, waiters and bartenders. So, thank you very much for this excellent week, we enjoyed it every singlr moment!

The hotel is nestled into the mountains with awesome spas and panoramic pools with views. The rooms are comfortable and spacious for a family and the beds prove to be comfortable for a nap after a long hike or bike ride through the mountains. The area where the hotel could be improved upon is the food and restaurant experience. The food that was served is hardly a step above what I would expect to feed to animals. Many of the items in their salad bar were rotting in plain sight and their idea of soup was essentially water which they labeled as "broth" with no taste or seasonings. The wait staff was so lackadaisical and seemed overwhlmed when there were 5-7 people serving a mere 6 tables, but they kept walking around with no direction or means to help guests. The service was slow and the only saving grace was the staff had a good attitude while shuffling along and looking the part of "busy". All in all, I would recommend this hotel, but bring a sandwhich folks.

Good looking hotel but from the inside it is a bit older. The staff is super nice and they help well. The location is okay as it is next to a cable cart station, you can also walk up. The food is alright but it could be a bit more simple and a bit cleaner because the plates are wet when you get then from the buffet. There are a lot of kids that could be annoying. Overall: a bit old with a bit of bad cleaning but the staff is nice and the location is okay/good.
