Joy 5 Hotel & Spa

I had a lovely stay at this hotel! The setting by the river and the nearby park made it feel really peaceful and charming. The hotel itself was cute and clean, with a cozy atmosphere. The service was absolutely amazing—staff were friendly and went above and beyond to help. While the facilities were a little on the simpler side, everything was well-kept. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming, but the excellent location made up for it. Overall, a really nice experience!

Love this place. I only wish rooms had a balcony. Otherwise it is a great affordable, clean, very helpful staff 24 hours a day. Breakfast is great. I highly recommend.

We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is lovely, breakfasts were very enjoyable, and having a spa on site is definitely a big plus. Sleeping on the water is a unique and peaceful experience — especially when the surroundings are quiet. There is a shuttle service, which was very helpful as we arrived late at night and were kindly met by a staff member. However, there were a few downsides. Out of all the nights we stayed, the spa staff member was only present on the last night. On the other days, there was another staff member (I’m not sure of her role), but she didn’t open the jacuzzi, turn on the TV in the spa area, or assist with other facilities. That was disappointing. Also, on the first night, there was a large, very loud group staying in the room next to and above us. They were shouting and jumping around well into the night, and I had to go to reception multiple times — I was even ready to call the police myself. Thankfully, the other nights were quieter. Room cleaning was okay, but tea and coffee weren’t replenished. When we asked, we were told one capsule is complimentary and the rest must be paid for. All in all, a beautiful place with potential — especially with some improvements to consistency and guest service.
