I had a delightful experience staying at J.P. Grand Hotel in Trat. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by attentive staff who promptly took our luggage directly to our room. Both the check-in and check-out processes were seamless and hassle-free. We opted for a room with breakfast included, and while the quality was good, the selection was somewhat limited. However, this was not a significant issue for our one-night stay. What truly stood out was the hotel's generosity in granting us a complimentary late check-out, which perfectly aligned with our afternoon bus departure. The presence of a well-maintained swimming pool added to the overall appeal of the hotel. Additionally, the air conditioning in the rooms worked flawlessly, consistently maintaining comfortable temperatures. The option for guests to smoke on room balconies is worth noting, even though it didn't personally affect me. One aspect that left a positive impression was the exceptional service we received when our 2-year-old daughter made a mess in the room. The staff went out of their way to assist in cleaning up, demonstrating their commitment to guest satisfaction. While there were minor drawbacks such as a poor drainage system and the absence of a security box in the room, these did not significantly detract from our overall positive experience. I am more than happy to award J.P. Grand Hotel five stars, as our stay was truly enjoyable and memorable.

Stayed a week at JP Grand Hotel in Trat. Mostly positive thoughts. The room prices are very reasonable. The staff courteous and friendly. The location was good and the rooms clean. 2 negatives. The rooms did not have hot water in the sinks for shaving although I understand it is not uncommon for many Thai hotels. If you are hungry in the morning better go out. The buffet breakfast featured cold eggs and weak coffee. The adjoining cafe however had a diverse menu with attractive prices. Would I recommend the hotel to a friend ?? YES !!!
