Classic Grand style hotel inside the Tokushima train station. The historic central park's Sakura are in full bloom and situated right behind the hotel. Spacious room and friendly staff.
I spent a night here on my way through Tokushima and everything was perfect. It's literally adjacent to the train station which made arriving and departing quick and convenient, not to mention near some great food options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and Western-style, and the breakfast was excellent! While not a problem at all for me, it should be noted it skewed heavily toward a standard Japanese breakfast, though there were some Western options as well. All around a great experience, and I absolutely loved the feel of the hotel which felt like a throwback to the grand hotels of the 70s right up to the light music playing throughout and the chandeliers in the lobby.
Excellent location - adjacent to the JR station and main bus depot. Compact, quiet and bright room (we were on the 10th floor). Did not use in house facilities/dining, there are plenty in the area. Great value.
