JR Hotels Bologna Amadeus

We spent here one night because our plane landed pretty late so on our way to Florence it was a very nice stay. From the airport it was a couple of minutes by taxi. First we wanted to walk but leaving the airport on foot was hard so we took the taxi. Hotel was nice. The stuff we're really helpful. Breakfast was better than typical continental. Only scrambled eggs were strange for me. I guess that hard boiled eggs would be a safer choice for people who prefer big nice breakfast instead of sweet one. Still, a very nice place as we had a HUGE room.

Difficult- great location once you want to visit Ducati site at Bologna. Good parking, good breakfast, big rooms, good price, but poor cleaning quality especially of the bathroom, strange smell there. Hotel is 4 stars level but this is not reality.

I stayed at this hotel with my father, and while we were having breakfast inside the hotel restaurant, all our belongings were stolen – including our passports, phones, a large amount of cash, and all our personal items. We immediately reported it, but the response was shocking. There were no cameras inside the restaurant, and the camera outside the restaurant was apparently not working – according to the staff. The woman responsible for the surveillance system refused to cooperate or even answer our questions. It took more than two hours for them to call the police, and even then, nothing was done to help us. We strongly believe that this was an inside job, or at least someone working at the hotel was involved or knew something. The worst part? No one apologized, no support was offered, and the staff were extremely cold and careless. They didn’t even offer us a glass of water after we were left with no money, no passports, no phones, and no way to return to our country. This experience was traumatizing, and I strongly advise everyone to avoid this hotel for your own safety.
