JUFA Hotel Königswinter Bonn

Good breakfast, simple comfortable rooms and great location with nearby trails and activities. The only thing was that the advertised E-Bikes were out of service. I would be happy to return

Rooms - Very nice, however feel pretty simple and some are small. Spent 2 nights and it was pretty comfy. It does sort of feel like a school trip place and is somewhere to spend the night rather than the whole day. They do advertise there being many activities around however all the buildings were shut. Service - The staff very pretty nice when we arrived however they did leave a small pack of sweets for everyone. Location - Very remote area and gives horror vibes when arriving at night time however it is a very nice location for hiking and going out for the day but not staying. Also Phantasialand is pretty close by. Overall it is a pretty simple hotel with not many activities on the premises and is not a place to stay the day just for a short night. It is not the best Jufa hotel and could be improved.

Our room is located on the top floor in another building , so climbing the stairs with our luggage because there is no elevator. the room itself quite spacious but very basic, no tea/coffee facility, no fridge, no airco not even free mineral water , the first day we arrived the room was very hot because the sun shines directly through the window and the curtain was not blackout curtain and too less to cover the whole window ( even we have to fix it ourselves, coz some hanger just hanging lose ) to make thing worse, someone just left the radiator on the whole day, we just realized it the next morning, the bed is hard and the pillows are very flat guaranteed for sleepless nights, in the evening some hotel guest parked their cars in front of the our room probably because they don't want to walk too far from the parking space or not enough space, breakfast was pretty much basic for 4 stars hotel, and there is no much distance re: covid pandemi ( most of them are Germans ) , the hotel put hand sanitizer in the reception & restaurant ( main building ) but not in other building ( imagine all the door handles, we have to open at least 4 doors to our room. the plus point : the wifi is very good and nice nature surrounding great for walking / hiking.
