Truly a Palace – Unmatched Service From the moment we booked, the service at Jumeirah Capri Palace was absolutely outstanding. The concierge took care of everything—from our arrival at Naples airport to making sure our check-in was seamless. The word Palace is no exaggeration—this place is stunning, and the service is honestly the best I’ve ever experienced. Everything we needed was handled with genuine care, no stress, and no pressure to tip—just heartfelt hospitality. The management clearly sets a high bar, and the entire staff reflects it. Breakfast is served at their 2 Michelin star restaurant, and we had dinner there our first night—unforgettable. We left feeling like royalty. If you’re heading to Capri, don’t think twice. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

5 Stars – Beautiful Hotel with a Minor Glitch at the Restaurant This is a truly stunning hotel with an equally impressive restaurant. The setting is beautiful, the food was exceptional, and the service overall was exquisite. That said, I did have one unfortunate experience at the restaurant involving their credit card machine. I tried five different credit cards—none of which worked—and was told they were all declined. It was an embarrassing situation in front of a business colleague, especially since I don’t travel with cash. I contacted Amex Platinum on the spot, and they confirmed that none of the transactions had even reached them—there were no declines on their end. When I politely asked the waitress if they could try a different card reader, she insisted it wasn’t their machine and seemed dismissive. Eventually, she returned with a different reader from the hotel lobby—and sure enough, my card went through instantly. What surprised me most was the lack of acknowledgment or apology afterward. No manager came by, and rather than any effort to smooth things over (even a simple “sorry for the trouble”), I was met with an eye roll and another comment that it couldn’t have been their machine—despite the clear evidence that it was. Despite this hiccup, I’m still leaving five stars because the hotel and restaurant really are exceptional. I just hope management takes note and ensures future guests don’t have to go through something similar.

For a 5 stars hotel I expect more! I stayed in 8 hotels on this trip in Italy and for sure this one was my last favorite. The food was good, not outstanding, our checking was delayed , the hairdryer was horrible, the pool was cold and not warm as they said, and the service in the Michelin restaurant was terrible 😑 But the staff were nice, room service amazing, really clean and organized.
