My friends and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The location was central, the buffet breakfast had a large selection of delicious food and drinks, the spa, sauna and pool was refreshing after a long business day, the gym facilities were top class, our room was clean, spacious and super comfortable, the beautiful greenery and design in the hotel foyer was stunning. We even had the luxury of live relaxing music from a talented woman playing harp and other classical instruments during breakfast and waiting in the foyer. Everything about this hotel was amazing but the standout was the fantastic service we received from all the staff members. They were all so friendly and welcoming and did their very best to make sure we had a lovely stay. Dixon, Jack, Albert and Shirley were some of the staff that are truly worth their weight in gold. There were some others but I couldn’t remember all their names. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Guangzhou.
We had an amazing stay! Impeccably clean, super comfy bed and thoughtfully-designed room and bathroom. Check-in processes could be further optimised but excellent and attentive service otherwise. The live harpist during breakfast and live music at the bar were also a nice touch.
Definitely not recommending this hotel to others travelers. Value for money of Jumeirah hotel is poor. Room quality is ok but it looks already old design. View ok but with dirty windows… But the worst was this experience : we took a beer in the evening at the hotel’s bar. We broke a basic glass for beer by accident leaving the table. When we asked for the bill, waitress told us that they were checking the price of the glass. They charged us 8$ for it. First time in my life :) For this price, there are better 5 stars hotels options in Guangzhou (with a better mindset).
