The staff is wonderful and the hotel is in a very convenient location next to the convention center and subway station. Only minor comment is that there is not much control over your A/C. I like it 20°C or colder so I had to turn the A/C off and leave a window open. Otherwise the room was great.

This hotel is very near to Shanghai New International Exhibition Center SNIEC. Outside and opposite side are Subway stations. This is very conveniently located hotel for those who are visiting SNIEC Expo. It is my third fourth time staying at Jumeirah Himalayas, but this time the hotel was only Himalayas and Covid has broken many bonds. The hotel staff was very nice. The reception staff spoke good English, but rest of the staff was purely Chinese speaking. The breakfast was with many options, luckily there was a good portion of English breakfast. The concierge and Gym staff were exceptional. Overall a great visit after 6 years. Rooms are spacious and cleanliness is very good. Outside views are good, but hotel with inside views also have a good central view in morning. There is a executive lounge for Club rooms guest, otherwise RMB 400 is charged per person, it is on 21st floor with great view.

The one and only reason to stay here is the location - opposite of the entry port of the convention center. Worn out place with zero charme and service level. Cold and noisy breakfast place in the atrium. You want to have a drink? Go elsewhere You want to enjoy the beauty of Shanghai? There are better places. No real value for a lot of money
