Located on the river bank, it’s a beautiful hotel with clean and comfortable rooms. We opted for a superior room with Sauna and a balcony. It was perfect. Bear in mind, towels and room cleaning is every other day. Hotel also offers sauna and jacuzzi for an additional charge, pretty expensive but same rates across most hotels in the region (Jacuzzi was 75 Euro per person for 1.5 hours). Staff was really nice and helpful. They also helped us a lot about availability of activities and tours. Breakfast is nice with variety of options - including the possibility to make yourself a fresh waffle. It also has a restaurant- probably one of the best in the region. Food is delicious. The only problem is limited options on the menu for ala carte, though they offer half board- a fixed menu for the dinner.

A nice high-end property just beside the river. Location is fantastic made even better by the trickling sound of the river flowing by. The property is located few hundred meter from the city center. Enjoyed the Sauna in the room and the balcony to cool down. The staffs were really friendly at dinner. Dinner itself was delicious - though I would have liked a bigger portion when compared to price. Overall a very positive experience!!

Spent a week at Wilderness Hotel Juutua in mid March. The experience was truly amazing. The hotel took care of everything right from the pick up from the airport to my drop off. My entire week's agenda was very well organised. Outdoor activities covered almost everything one could experience in Lapland. A big shout out to all the guides mainly Anne, Jakub, Roman, Kirsi and Chrisitna. I was fortunate to see the Aurora over 3 nights. I stayed in the Arctic room which was big, clean and had a wonderful view of the river. The hotel staff are welcoming, professional and friendly. The amazing and helpful team of ladies namely, Kirsi, Julia, Vanessa and Linn managed the reception during my stay and catered to the smallest of the queries. The Aanar restaurant whipped up some truly delicious dishes. Plenty of options over breakfast and lunch. Lunch is served buffet style whereas dinner is a set menu with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Divya, Ida and Natalia were great at taking care of the guests in the restaurant during meals. Apologies if I missed any names, the entire staff did a great job. One of the best holidays I ever had. Thank you, Wilderness Hotel Juutua for such great memories!!
