My family and I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a higher floor and access to concierge lounge so we had free breakfast and snacks during our stay. The room was fairly modern and clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was huge only complaint is its not walk-in warm but otherwise great. One of the biggest selling features to this hotel is that it's connected to a HUGE mall that I didn't get to explore but my family did and had fun walking around. I love this hotel and would visit again.

Do not even think about staying here. What a shame this hotel is to the JW Marriott name. I checked in, walked in to my room and there was a chewed up piece of gum stuck to the table by the couch. Ew. I messaged them on the app and waited over an hour for a reply. I kindly asked them to come remove it and sanitize the table. They said they’d send someone right up. I went to dinner and came back and it was still there. I was ready to go to bed so I asked them not to come and disturb me at this point. The next morning I wanted to order room service coffee since I wouldn’t dare consider using the in room coffee pot given they couldn’t even clean the table tops in the room! Nope, can’t order until 7 am, can’t order at 6:30 for a 7 am delivery, not an option. I got dressed and went up to the lounge that opens at 6:30, doors locked, lights off. I went to the coffee shop in the lobby and happened to see 2 maintenance guys in Marriott shirts while I was waiting. I confirmed with them the lounge opens at 6:30, correct? One of them said, “yeah she’s here probably just rounding up supplies”. Opens at 6:30 means you are OPEN and you are prepared for the day. Coffee brewed, lights on, food being prepared… I went through the proper channels: messaged on the app, contacted the manager when I returned home, no return email. I have never written a bad review for a hotel but wanted to warn others! These things combined with the outdated rooms and tired common areas make this a definite never again for me.

Only 1 night since check-in and they are drilling and hammering all around my room starting at 7 AM. During my stay, I was abruptly woken at 7:00 AM by loud drilling and hammering noises coming from adjacent rooms. I stepped into the hallway around 8 AM and encountered the Director of Maintenance walking by. I mentioned the noise to him directly, and rather than acknowledge the issue, he flat-out denied hearing anything. He entered the room in question, emerged moments later, and falsely claimed there was no noise — then walked away without offering any resolution. I then called Guest Services, who confirmed that active maintenance work was taking place. When I requested a one-hour delay to the operation, I was refused without any consideration. Even more troubling, the Director of Engineering deliberately misrepresented the situation and acted as if nothing was occurring — a dishonest, performative display that I found deeply unprofessional and unacceptable. To make matters worse, the Guest Services agent who followed up offered no apology or support. She refused to transfer me to a supervisor, ignored my legitimate concern for rest and peace, and seemed more interested in dismissing me than addressing the disruption. Her tone and approach escalated the issue rather than resolving it. For the premium I’m paying, this experience has been appalling. Between the dishonesty of the engineering staff and the negligence of front-of-house service, this property feels more like a scam than a reputable Marriott. I expect accountability and immediate corrective action — starting with an internal review of the staff involved.
