Just checked out after a wonderful 2 day stay for a work conference. I can honestly say this resort had some of the BEST customer service I’ve experienced in all my years traveling. From Liana at the front desk, Nate and the team with the golf carts, and the restaurant and bar staff. This resort is unique in so many ways and rooms are beautiful. I look forward to coming back with my family for vacations in years to come. Thank you all for such impeccable service and experience during my business travel. - DC
The resort is amazing with great rooms and beautiful views. Room simple but very nice. Room and resort grounds were very clean and well kept. Resort service was excellent and very friendly. Our only complaint is about Lincoln Steakhouse. Our appetizer and sides were fantastic, but our entrees were mediocre at best. We had the New York Strip which was very gristly making a third of it inedible, and the Bacon Crusted Salmon with green apple. The salmon was entirely too salty with the bacon and the acid and sweet of the apple wasn't nearly enough to cut the salt. Despite the the service being excellent throughout the rest of the resort, it fell flat in the restaurant. Our server was inattentive and not as personable as we would have hoped. Our meal, though not insanely priced, was entirely too expensive for what we received. We will absolutely be back to the resort, but will be dining elsewhere.
I loved the location, the unique character of the property, and the overall beauty of the resort. However, the experience fell short in several areas. The rooms are not well insulated so you can hear everything from neighboring guests. I also ordered room service, and after waiting an hour and a half with no delivery (it states when you order it can up to this long), I called the front desk. It took another 30 minutes for them to figure out the issue. I asked to cancel the order, which they agreed to and assured me that they'd refund my card. However, the charge was still on my final bill. For a resort that positions itself as “luxury,” the service was disappointing and did not meet expectations.
